way to ruin a night

Ever lock-up somewhere and return to find your bike sitting in a pool of urine? well i hope it never happens to you my friends. I was in a really good mood after having just seen Jandek (free) and The Books perform, ohh i dont know, probably around 1am, and i walked over to unlock only to find that some degenerate ahole decided it'd be convenient/funny to piss all over my bike! i mean it was still dripping from the spokes! dripping from the chain! Why?! My friend tried to convince me it was beer or something, but i got a closer smell, and nope, it was pee. ****ed up, seriously.

The books are cool. Thats rough, I almost tackled a drunk once when i saw him about to puke on my bike. Managed to push him just far enough that he puked a few feet away from my rear wheel.

I found **** on my bike seat today. but I think it was bird or small-mammal ****, and not any other kind of poo maliciously placed there. Still, i didn't like finding it after a jaunt to the post office.

Bikes: villin, trek beater.

I thought the book's show was one of the best I've seen in quite a while. They just played here in G'ville at the beginning of the month. If anyone has those videos, I'd like a link.

Sorry about the piss.

At least he didn't take a crap on it, or vomit all over it or something. Was it like, very dilute pee, or the concentrated dehydrated stuff?

that's true. I would have cried if they took a **** on it. All i know is that it wasn't nothing i wanted to touch. I walked my bike home. Anyone know if lysol ****s your bearings if it gets up in the crannies?

What is their live act even like? I've listened to 3 of their albums quite a bit, but I have no idea what their setup is live.

I sometimes get drunk and pee all over huge jacked up trucks/suvs. I feel pretty justified.

there's three of them at least, one guitar, one cello, and I think one mandolin or something. And they have a big video screen behind them. It's cool. They're very good live.

Dude, you gotta wash your bike. I hope you're not just going to spray it down with Lysol.

The Books are simply incredible live. it's pretty much cello and acoustic guitar. If you think their cut-and-paste samples are dope, wait till you see the video collage that accompanies their set. Two immensely talented mother****ers.

Ohh man i totally disassembled everything, and gave it a thorough scrubbing in the bathtub the second i got home. i wiped down the wheels with a soapy wet rag and sprayed lysol for extra measure. Then i dried and re-greased everything and put it back together. and i hate doing dishes, ****.

Bikes: more bikes than toes and fingers

I know it is a bummer and that the idea of it is totally f-ed up, but try to think on the bright side: at least urine is sterile, and it was used by past civilizations (and current ones) for a whole range of things.

I've never had my bike peed on, but I can tell you from experience that you should never ever pee on a campfire or stand around a campfire that is being peed upon...unless, of course, you are interested in becoming suddenly inundated in a pee-steam cloud that will saturate your clothes and hair with an aweful burnt pee-like stench.
