Meaning, the signal/noise in the Road forum can be ****ing unreal, but we'll get most of the **** since we're the "kids". Not a big deal or anything, it's probably how 94% of everything ever anywhere works.
The jerks are everywhere. I've got exactly one person ignored on BF and he's in the Touring forum, of all places.
Takes all kinds.

if you saw the last post in thier thread they were thinking of doing the same. I like the previous suggestion, settle this s*** in a race, and show em what elitism is really all about.

i started a similar thread in cyclingforums.net or .com or whatever a few weeks ago. ironically, that was about the only time i spent over there. it just wasn't the same, or rather, it was eerily so.

what a bunch of ****ing stoodents!
truth be told tho, i thought this forum was kinda harsh until i realized that all of the people talking **** knew one another, and now it just seems like a bunch of friends hanging out and doing what friends do... **** talk eachother!
either way it's damned amusing.

Bikes: highly modified specialized crossroads and GT hybrid (really a [formerly] 12-speed bmx cruiser, made before 'hybrid' took on its current meaning), as yet unmodified redline 925, couple of other projects
a lot of the criticism is amazingly accurate.
that said, I still like BF better.

FGG forums are just as I suspected: Crotchety old dudes with conversions who don't know how to drink like a mo***er and look good while doing so.

If a BF vs FGG rumble and MnG is setup, I'd be down to crack some lids...
