Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: Too many to bother

Brooklyn Machine Works ROBBED

The shop was broken into on April 27/28 between 10pm and 6am. There's a reward for recovery of the bikes, or even just a name.
Any folks that should happen to see any stray BMW bikes in your hood, PM me where/when. Louisville slugger in hand, the hunt is on.

Bikes stolen -
Brooklyn Machine Works Hitman #2 Grey
Brooklyn Machine Works Supertrucker #1 Yamaha Blue
Brooklyn Machine Works TMX #41 Maroon (no pic avail)
Brooklyn Machine Works Race Link #57 White
Brooklyn Machine Works Park #212 Sea Foam Green
Spooky Project X Yellow (no pic avail)

Bikes: Surly Long Haul Trucker set up for commuting and loaded touring, old Sekine road frame converted to fixed-gear, various beaters and weird bikes, waiting on the frame for my Surly Big Dummy build

That sucks. But I believe you mean they were burgled, not robbed. Insurance?

Whomever it was, they knew what they were taking, they had time to pick and choose.

Bikes: 04' Specialized Hardrock Sport, 03' Giant OCR2 (SOLD!), 04' Litespeed Firenze, 04' Giant OCR Touring, 07' Specialized Langster Comp

Might've been an inside job. Or someone who's been there before.
If you guys have a security camera, check out the footage for the prev. couple of days to see if you see any suspicious activity. If not, invest in a security camera I can help you set it up if I have some spare time.

Any indication of how they actually got in?
Any pics of the bikes online?
