That was phunnie. I must be in the wrong towns, but I've never heard an actual messenger, upon seeing someone on any kind of bike, refer to them as posing, faking, posengering or the like. If they aren't riding confidently...they may get a chuckle or a wry smile, but most don't care, long as the person is on a bike. I don't look like a hipster when I'm working, was working, whatever, so maybe I dunno these dudes. I usually wore straight lycra in heat, layering up thin as the temp drops.
Then again I probably hang out with old couriers, who truly do not care one iota what you think...they didn't even see you, if they did it was just your bike they saw. |
