About Squirrel Gray squirrels are the preferred ones; red squirrels are small and quite gamey in flavor. no, they had peoples rights to overthrow a government in mind. of course the way technology is gone a violent revolution is pretty much impossible these days so it's pretty useless. I support peoples rights to own gun, but I also support having them all live as far away from me as possible....
I think everyone should be forced to fire a gun once in their life just so they can understand how terrifying they are. |

dirty - id love to see it happen. really. i think its gonna take less gun violence and more of a mass organization across the country... the patriot act scares me way more than guns do.

I can assure you that the only thing I hunt is paper targets, and the occasional bottle. I don't consider my guns an option for self defense because I live in a crowded apartment building. I see how one might consider them to be unnecessary, and respect that, but for me they are enjoyable, when, like anything else, enjoyed responsibly.
I dunno, this is always a huge debate I get into that nobody ever seems to win. What is bad for sure is the many many people that have them that really shouldn't. It is quite interesting to see completely different attitudes on the subject between more urban settings and where I am now. I guess I find myself somewhere right in the middle of that spectrum. And I dunno why I'm rambling on, maybe because I'm so used to talking to the guns'n'hunting crowd up here and I'm interested to see people with other opinions for a change. |

Oh dear, obviously chimbly you have not experienced the joy and romance of a nice evening alone in vermont with your significant other, a .22 pistol, a proper and safe place to shoot, and a whole **** load of beer cans. Nothing says love like making cans dance. That said, first rule of guns, if you think that you'll NEED one or that they make you safer you shouldn't be have one. Period.

Guns are power, and until every single person in the world forsakes them at the same time, those with guns will have the power and those without won't. You're in a super comfy huge rich country, so it's understandable, but there are many areas of the world where to be 'anti-gun' is incredibly naive. I don't own guns, don't particularly like (or like being around) them, but I'm for damn sure not going to take away someone's right to own them. That's an individual decision. So, consider me 'pro choice'. Then again, I"m a crack shot with a Glock, and my inner child has a mullet. |
