Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

it would be good to open a velodrome/shooting range.

Yeah we were talking about that the other day.
Have a race that involves paintball guns.
Two teams to destinations and tons of guns and bicycles.
Objective it to get as many of your team to your destination without getting shot.

I have guns...provided, I did sell one so I could get a bike. I guess I have to contend with fitting in with the other North Dakotans AND having a bike, too.

Someone needs to keep high quality scan of this and collect all of them. At teh end of the year you can create the 2006 trackbikespeaks anthology and sell them on ebay to all of the morons who are buying the Puma thing.

and then it will be East vs West.
Juvikyle vs brunop
Dolface vs SashaE
Then Juvi and Dolface will get shot riding a tandem but will still mysteriously collect over 12 bikes over the next 10 years.
and sashaE and brunoP will die also and so evanyc will wear t shirts and spoke cards w/ thier bikes on them.

You've obviously never spent the day in a field full of prairie dogs with an AR15 and a chilled case of Rainier. I have nothing but pity for those in this world who haven't experienced this version of redneck nirvana.

Of course, I'm not really using this argument to justify killing ****. I just like killing ****. And drinking beer while operating firearms. You should try it sometime.

Silly ******, we treehuggers think cattle farmers should be out of a job. Their stupid cows require ten pounds of food for every pound of beef they produce. Cattle farms use and pollute millions of gallons of water. Get rid of the cows and we could put off Malthus for a loooong time.

Silly me. I forgot that the premise of my argument would fall on deaf ears w/ the vegan crowd. Oh well, you guys take pleasure in dumpstering hummus from behind a trader joe's and I enjoy shooting pests and eating steak. To each his own.

i'm with juvi.
guns are the ****ing stupidest **** ever. i mean, there's no reason for anyone to have one. like "sport hunting?" it's sportier with a bow and arrow. need to protect yourself? remember that "self-defense" guns are more often used against the owner than to protect the owner.

in my book, people with guns are in the same category as anti-choice people. don't date 'em, don't get drunk with 'em.
