Maillard 700 track hubs?

I seem to have a pair of Maillard 700 track hubs. Atleast the rear hub is threaded separately for a cog and lockring and seems to do the job (haven't used them yet). I've never heard of Maillard 700 track hubs before and I haven't found anything by searching. Is this the real thing or what?

Took some pics now but they really suck, sorry for that. The rear hub is disassembled for cleaning. Yeah and the blue spokes are god awful - not my fault. The wheels came with a track bike I bought a while ago.

they're french. Then they got bought out by Sachs, which then got bought out by SRAM.
They made all grades of hubs ranging from crap to excellent
you'll probably need a french lockring.

my old backwheel was built on a maillard hub. it lasted through very gnarly use by me and at least three others before me. i don't know what else to say- it looks like the same hub.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?! They are so awesome

I wish I could get some iridescent grey spokes to match my frame... (krylon, I guess)

I have a lockring that came with the hub, but it's a really bad one, looks like a bb-lockring.

The wheelset has found its purpose in life. It's my tubular storage wheelset for keeping my unused tubulars inflated on for spares

Indeed. Standard equipment on Peugeot team bikes in the mid-late seventies.

Yes, your photography ain't too good.

Yes I know, I'm a photographer .

Anyway, thanks guys! I think you've opened my eyes for these puppies. I always thought they were some kind of crappy converted suicide hubs because I've never heard of Maillard track hubs, just regular hubs, before. When I finally removed the cog I found that it actually was threaded like a track hub I was surprised indeed.
