Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Nothing to do until September...

so what should i do? i stopped teaching and went back to school and I start my summer break today. sure, i could get a job, but who wants to do that (unless it's something rad that any of you NYCers know of).

my current plan is to just ride like crazy. i'm also gonna get a membership at the YMCA to do some swimming and maybe a little weights just to get in better shape.

my band is also doing a week tour in august.

there has been talk of going to costa rica, but not working doesn't really afford me many expensive luxuries.

but yeah, basically i'm all free time for the next three months! let's do some riding people!

i might be doing that for a little bit since that's where i'm from, but i don't know if i'd be working with common ground or just helping my friends rebuild their houses.

also, i can't leave town for extremely prolonged periods cause michele would get bummed

do it. you know you should. also, you can call michele on the telephone. or send her some electronic mail. but you can't help rebuild where the government is abandoning the poor over the internet...

we might be! not sure yet. this isn't the bike punk band though, it's REDS and another band cuddle machines, but 3/4ths of the bike punk band is in these 2 bands.

which reminds me... SPOKED needs to get together!

so yeah, anyone in NYC who wants to ride, during the day or whenever, PM and i'll give ya my cell and we can do some riding!
