Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Boston Messengers, How's Absolute Delivery?

So I'm sick of city x and I might be able to land a job at Absolute through my friend. I've talked to a few people in town but, I'm just wondering what you BF people know about them?

yeah $hitty express is the worst. they had me going over the mass ave bridge carrying one at least 7 times my first day, either bad dispatching or they enjoy screwing over the new guy.

there is one company that posts on CL sometimes that garantees 500usd a week. if your starting out, it may be a good place to work at, but dont remember the name.

i went in there yesterday and talked with them. They seem aight, but they make you pay for your nextel ($10 week) or use your own. Otherwise they seem pretty good, but I'm comparing them to city.

I think I was making 500/week at city, but I was busting my ass so if I work at absolute, I'll be either busting my ass less or making more $.
