Crash in Prospect Park

I crashed in the park earlier today (err...yesterday). Broken nose and some road rash, but no concussion. However I can't remember any of it. I remember riding, and then I remember sitting on the ground with a napkin under my nose. So...

Did anyone witness a crash in Prospect Park today? Specifically a guy in an orange jersey riding a green track bike around 7:30-8pm? What caused it?

(BTW, this has also been posted in the road forum).

sorry to hear it. I once got in a head injury accident, and woke up three days later. apparently, I was awake the whole time but remembered nothing. I 'woke up' in a hospital. there was a clown painted on the ceiling. **** was freaky.

so are you still going to boston next weekend?

Dude, if you can't remember the crash, I think ipso facto, you have a concussion.

Sux though. Just remember, chicks dig scars.

I've been hit by a car, I've been hit by a truck, but nothing hurt more than getting hit by a kid, we must work to ban kids from parks and other places where we ride our bikes

Not really. Your brain is just quite good at shutting out traumatic events. I don't remember anything about my bad wreck last year and I was declared concussion free.

You should find that kid & challenge him to a rubik's cube solving contest, beating him every time...until he cries.

actually, if it was a kid...how is he?

ouch. damn, yoshi... i'm glad it was just your nose. have you found out exactly what happened from the roadie who witnessed it yet? get better quick.

coming back from 9W yesterday, i passed a guy on the bridge with a face-full of road-rash and an arm to match. nerf asphalt is the future.

hey, are you getting medical attention? losing time is kind of scary.

to just sort of get on a stay-safe soapbox:

head injuries are no joke. if you're hit in the head, seek medical attention. a life threatening head injury could take days to manifest symptoms.

Got laid off when they closed that asbestos factory, and wouldn't you know it, the army cuts my disability pension because they said that the plate in my head wasn't big enough. Every time Katherine revved up the microwave Id piss my pants and forget who i was for half an hour or so.
