I'm impressed.

gotta love someone who discribes his voice as "geese farts on a foggy night"

i just can't stand the way they sing. that nasal, atonal vocal style does not do it for me, and they seem to use it more and more.
i'll deal, but..it's still not my bag.

his last years seem very sad to me, though....
there's a messenger here i haven't asked about this, but who i think told me some time ago at a party that (s)he knew fahey. of course, i don't want to assume that my memories from a time a year ago when i was drunk are accurate.

Had a good ride the other night listening to "Quadrophenia" by the Who. Double album that gets you pumped; it got me 25 miles from home. I then threw on some Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five and came on back. "Space is the Place", oh yeah. Added Prince's "Black Album" (I've got two different bootlegs plus his release of that album). "Supercalafragasexy"

The The Dusk. One of the few albums I can listen to over and over again. Then again I'll listen to anything that Jonny Marr is involved in.
