What's the problem? Are you worried that people will question your sexuality? Do you think they'll make your butt look fat?

I don't understand this aversion to clothing made specifically for the thing you do on a regular (if not daily) basis. I don't generally wear stuff like that when I go to class or work, but if I was racing or on a century you better ****ing believe I'll have that **** on. It really does make you more comfortable because it's supposed to.

You could always just take a pair with you and change at the track too.

it's completely irrational. like i said, i understand and appreciate what it's for, and of course if i end up racing i'll probably wear it. i honestly don't care what other people think, it's all what i think heh. for some reason spandex makes me feel like i'm out in public in my underwear and that just doesn't sit well.

it's totally comfortable... but i can't bring myself to not wear it under a pair of cut-off shorts. there's something about the spandex silhouette of odd piercings that i can only imagine getting me into conversations i'd rather not have at gas stations, delis and coffee shops along my training rides.

Spandex is a whole lot tighter than my underwear, but I got over it, and you will too.

i'm sure i will. i did say it wasn't a rational thing. but after today with heat and bunching of my padded underpants under my knickers, i might be a convert soon.
