Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

lol, by his typing he wouldn't know how to tell a messenger from a hole in the ground. At least there at the end he acknowledges it could've been anyone on a bike. There are more folk that look like messers than there are messers in NYC, there are more messers in NYC than there are messers online.

Johnny Cash woulda kicked your ass for whining about it like that

Learn how to speak English & not ride the wrong way against traffic. Also, keep your eyes open for EX-Messengers when you're coming into blind turns like that. Lastly, don't be a vagina.

Think of all those people that have their cats spayed and neutered - all those kittens that god wanted to put on this earth so (s)he(it) could kill them, and now they'll never have the chance to be put in a sack with some rocks and thrown off a bridge...

Thanks for the info. I never read that thread after the first 5 posts... I should have SSFG always has hidden treasures for me. Big e-hug to everyone who gave her (him?) what she deserved for reporting on upcoming trends. I <3 BFSSFG

being a messenger means you are able to 'spit land' on anyone on a bike, specially in williamsburg too.
