Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Thanks.. I'm probably going to dump the fork and get something a bit lighter. Perhaps a Pike, I'm undecided. As it stands, the thing is a tank and while I enjoy the confidence it gives me, I could stand to shed a few pounds.

The bike is fricking sick in person. Fork's since been swapped for an Nemesis-tuned '06 DJ1 lowered to 65mm. LHD for for RHG(rinding)

Info about Nemesis here ... https://www.nemesisproject.com/

Pedaling is typically done while standing. You want the seat out of the way for jumping, etc.

Bikes: Guerciotti Pista-Giant Carbon-Bridgestone300- Batavus Type Champion Road Bike, Specialized Hardrock Commuter, On-One The Gimp (SS Rigid MTB/hit by a truck)- Raleigh Sports 3-speed,Gatsby Scorcher, comming soon...The Penny Farthing Highwheel!

I'm setting minr up like a trials/DJ bike, with the ability to lift it's super long carbon seatpost, change seats, and epic freeride. throw on some slicks, and hit the skatepark...ride home and hit the walls before it's bedddie-bye time.

Oh, and track bikes are still boss...especially on the track.
