Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

it seems i can't pm you. anyway, the "braintrust" behind freight train bags is going to be taking some freight trains out your direction...don't know when he'll be there, but he told me he was going to be going out there in a bit and he'd try to see you. just thought i'd say.

Bikes: I built the Bianchi track bike back up today.

I sent him a PM for you over at mplsbikelove, he should get that. If I don't hear back tomorrow, I'll call him...

Bikes: iro mark v 48x16 or 15 i think (fixed), surly 1x1 32x16 (free)

you know, just the other day i was thinking about how i never got a thread that said "highpants threads go here," or, "i ******** LOVE highpants" or the like. thanks, humancongerel, for satisfying that need. because, truly and sincerely, i am pretty amazing.

thanks for the message. i got it via hereNT via mplsbikelove, and responded through him as well.

i don't know what the deal is...are PMs really that hard to set up here? i haven't been able to figure it out for some reason. i'm going to try again right now.

anyway, for those who want to know, owen is a great guy who makes a decent bag, and apparently he'll be in town, and apparently i'll know all about it at some point. in the meantime, check him out at www.myspace.com/freighttrainbags. tell him daniel from mpls sent you. that might not do anything, but maybe he'd be glad enough to know about it that he'd cut you a deal.

i really think the heat is starting to get to me. lemme go and try to figure out this whole PM dilemma.
