sorry if I offended
The thing is, on the Internet it's hard to tell who's really got a functional issue (say, English as second language, or a disability) or who's lazy. Lots of folk on the web are lazy. They squish out half-baked crap and expect everyone else to connect the dots for them.
When you say 'I'm a product of California schools', then, sorry to say, it looks like you're being lazy and making excuses. If you can't write clearly, that will hold you back in many, many ways in life, the least of which is your job prospects. Every post you make on the Internet is an opportunity to improve on your written language skills. Every sentence you read is an example or a lesson.
If you're really hugely dyslexic, then if I were you I'd put that in your sig. People will understand a lot better then.
The truth is, if you want to be understood, you have to be clear. There's a reason punctuation exists in type, and that's because there are no verbal or visual cues to go along with the words. If you don't put those in, sorry, you're gonna get flak, that's the way it is, and you can't make everyone treat you nicely.
