i'm not sure i like where this is going. i suppose that's because i'm as big a ******bag as about anyone on here from time to time, but i don't mean anything by it. i just like to get a rise out of people in an innocuous sort of way. i can't say what dutret's motivations are, but there's a possibility that his bikeforums persona, and who he is in real life are different.

Dutret seems better informed about cycling in general than a lot of posters here. He's a gadfly and knows his ****, so he's naturally hated.

Are you freaking serious? They are better informed than 99.99999% of the people in this country. They are just selective about how they percieve what they are informed of. Going into more detail of this would qualify it for the Politics forum.

Yes, a large portion of what they(rush in particular) say is factually incorrect. They claim to be well informed and can easily pull it off since thier audience is even less well informed then they are. However, bull****ting and not getting called on it is not the same as being well informed.

Time to move, if the fixed tastemakers don't get us then the Taliban, Rush or O'Reilly might.

i'm just pretty constantly surprised by the general lack of a sense of humor, the overly PC stance, and the tendency to follow the lead of certain posters here.
i have no idea what this dude did to warrant some cryptic thread discussing his nuclear detonation, but i'm pretty sure whatever it was, i'd have thought it was funny. maybe that makes me an *******, or maybe it makes me someone who can easily seperate the internet from real life, who knows (and more to the point, who cares?)

he basically told 128 to **** himself because he ran a red light so it doesn't matter that the car that hit him left the scene. he justified a hit and run. thats pretty ****ty.
