Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

dude, serendipper, lay off the oldie text dawg. I think it's premanently embedding into your vocab and style.

seriously though, If you want to shoot it, I'm half decent versed in The Stuart period i.e. Dekker, chapman, middleton, jonson, marston, webster, beaumont, etc. and shakespeare. Basically the bastards that bastardized the religious drama of the middle ages, they totally rule.

Well, to be fair, I don't regard Twain, Fitzgerald, Baudlaire, Hugo, Balzac,or Post to be "oldie text".

Thackery, Doyle, Keats and Spencer? Yes, perhaps I should ween my self from the Thackery...it can be out of place in almost every given situation.

You tickle me with your references...I assume you've exhausted The Golden Hind?
