^ weird, that fork is drilled in the rear, but not the front. Maybe as a 'guide' if you wanted to drill it?

Yeah, it kind of looks like there is actually a plug inside the fork crown, so maybe it was drilled and capped?

It's the guide divot in the back of the fork crown for drilling. Pinarello used the same fork crown for road and track, and just raked the blades differently depending upon usage.

$350

I got the most exorbitant ticket ever in that town once; methinks they are a bit greedy.

pray tell, what's so great about that?
straight gauge Cro-Mo, Ashtabula cranks.

sure it's fillet brazed, but still...
The Brooks maybe? though it looks quite worn.

my Peugeot is a pos money pit, the brooks isnt too shabby. Plus I just need the frame. Being Fille Brazed is an added bonus in my book.

Little pricey, but mavic tri spoke with a fixed hub, freewheel hub and front hub. Mix and match.

$400 for two Mavic carbon tri-spokes? That's not really pricey for those wheels. You'd be hard pressed to find something comparable for less, although I suspect that they'll close much higher than $400.

you'd be replacing one POS money pit for another.
