That Zunow is incredible.

crushkilldstroy 11-13-07 10:59 AM

Anyone want an $800 Mark V?

It has oodles of custom bolts and stuff.

Steviek216 11-13-07 11:16 AM

If you customise a Mark V to that extent you should know it is yours for life.

famous amos 11-13-07 03:48 PM

Im bummed, missed getting a Mercier frame in my size for $175 shipped. I guess thats what you get for being lazy...:(

$800? Why not a cool grand?
How are some people so out of touch with reality?

This is the second time it's been listed for this price. I can't believe this thing doesn't sell, although I guess that's a consequence of not being "NJS TRACK PISTA FIXED GEAR".

If it were my size, I would probably be all over it.

piwonka 11-14-07 01:16 PM

damn, these cranks are going high!
what's worse, the seller said they are 144bcd and they are 151bcd, i hope the bidders realize that.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Campagnolo-Nouvo...QQcmdZViewItem

and a godefroot. listed as a 55cm bike but it's 58cm, shipping is crazy high though. and it ain't as sweet as TNCLR's (or whatever his name is) godefroot.
hmm, take a close look at the rear hub too, i can't make that **** out...

The wheels alone are worth way over $500. Then you have the Dura Ace cranks.

If I had the money, I'd buy it, transfer all the components to my bike, then sell the frame.

imfastareyou 11-14-07 03:48 PM

heads up:
http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/n...478851001.html

deal on a new phil wood 110mm hub. if you need one this is a deal. might be able to beat him down another $20 too....

EivlEvo 11-14-07 04:24 PM

That front wheel doesn't actually look like its a HED Jet. Definitely a HED wheelset though, just not their jet model. Even still as we've all noticed... that wheelset is worth more than $500 on EBAY EASILY! Unless they're 650's

Blast... Anyone want a kidney?

if i had the money, that thing would have been in transit to cleveland right now.

Maybe in Portland frames like that cost $70, but around here, that's a $30-$50 frame. Looks good, though. Fuji Valite tubing (which I don't know if this is) was actually Ishiwata, with Tange forks. They're solid bikes.

delicious 11-14-07 08:42 PM

i agree with bonechilling. i built a girlfriend a valite bike, and it's not bad stuff, but definitely not worth more than $50.

+1 that Valite Fuji. I would have tried to sell it locally for $40 at most. That VCW Track bike is worth it for the parts alone. +1 if I had the money I would part that ***** out in a heartbeat.

That seller should know better. He (assume) has been selling some sweet vintage **** lately: the $3600 1972 Masi Pista, 1964 Bianchi Specialissima, and a Faema Merckx a friend of mine bought.

kyselad 11-14-07 09:53 PM

I know this thread usually sees higher end bikes, but if anyone else is a Kabuki fan, this is just dying for some love. Sadly, too tall for me.
