You know, when that auction is fixed, the $350 price tag might not be so bad, especially if you're in PA and can pick it up yourself (sparing the $100 shipping).

I wouldnt pay more than $29,000 for that.

So Portland is blowing up with Schwinn Paramount track bikes right now if you haven't noticed...
http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bik/508373352.html '76 Paramount track, $1200 http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bik/512009526.html Early 40's Paramount track, $850, adjustable reach stem http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/bik/513302592.html '74 Paramount, but it's hard to tell if he's talking the whole bike or frame. $600. Unfortunately I don't aspire to own a Paramount or I'd probably buy the last one, but I'm sure there's many that do. |

well, if you have a Viner, a Colnago, or a DeRosa (or another Cannondale track or any other great steel bike) in size 57-59, great. Until then, I am not going to sell it to some whippersnapper who is going to use it as a bar bike. Original bikes don't come around often. I feel the need to preserve it
