well, if you have a Viner, a Colnago, or a DeRosa (or another Cannondale track or any other great steel bike) in size 57-59, great. Until then, I am not going to sell it to some whippersnapper who is going to use it as a bar bike. Original bikes don't come around often. I feel the need to preserve it

Good on you. Do you have a cached pic of the bike or the ad? The posting is deleted. I want to see it!

velo-orange.com

I love Velo Orange, and I know ITM made a fine quill stem, but I can't see paying $39 for an item that fetches $20 with regularity on eBay.

just picked it up. it is amazing. scratch on drive side chainstay. thats it. it is a 53. bone stock. the superbe track hubs spin so smoothly. came with a performance threadless cf fork and blah stem, and original cannondale fork, pearl stem, and superbe pro headset. pics will be up tomorrow. it's not my size so i think it might go in the trade thread. or ebay. it seems about 7 to 800 is the going rate for the f/f.

edit- my wife "put away" my camera cable. they will be up soon,

Huh, that bike's in our fixed fenders thread. If he/she loves the new bars so much, why is it up for sale?

Wow, mass eBay shops like Bells are selling them now? Further proof that Aerospokes are the new Deep V / are jumping the shark hardcore.

That was on ebay a few days ago. Went up to about $130 + 80 s/h (didn't meet reserve). Good luck selling it at that price. Sweet ride though. Nice "paramount" badge.

Jserse 12-24-07 01:27 PM

Wasn't mine, just posted it. Back home in pgh for the break. Didn't realize there was a ebay listing pertaining to that bike

501breeze 12-24-07 04:21 PM

oh i didn't mean you personally. I just meant good luck to the seller. No offense intended.

"I paid over $500 for it,so I am starting at $350 with reserve at $351,so it can go cheap.
I need the money much more then I need the bike."---jackass, why do the BS with the reserve?

also your shipping is 125. i had an old 3 speed shipped to cali for 50.

no one is going to pay 476 for your off the peg fixie

bonechilling 12-24-07 10:36 PM
