Threatening to break off a binding contract to sell just because you aren't happy with how your item was valued by bidders is just stupid and completely against the principles of an auction. Either put a reserve price or make it a buy it now only auction.

shants 01-29-08 07:05 PM

yeah, it's a pretty turd move because it's basically just a way to get out of paying the listing fee based on the reserve instead of the $1.00 starting point that he set.

Agreed. Just get your friends to bid it up if you're really that much of a schmuck.

piwonka 01-29-08 09:16 PM

yeah, taht dude with the eimei is a ******. i asked him if the dropouts were filed and he said they were but didn't post the question for the bidders to read. what a *****.

kyselad 01-29-08 09:28 PM

Don't let this Schwinn slip away for a cool 3 bills.

Edit: Actually, there is this Mark V on the Indy craigslist for $250. The ad doesn't include photos, but that seems like a steal.

NJS Panasonic on yahoo japan auctions only bid at 5,000 yen with 20 hours to go. I don't watch these things too often...so I guess they get bid up at the last minute, because this is a sham price?

I think I figured it out. If you take the attachable bullhorns off and flip them around, they get a little bit longer/shorter. Of course, just because I now understand WHAT it does, doesn't mean I understand WHY they did it.

2005 Lemond Fillmore with upgraded bits. Besides the TT OX tubing, the toupe saddle, CK headset, thomson stem, and wheels make it worth the asking price:

http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/n...554879620.html

The bike never came in a 54cm. Lemond's 53cm has a top tube length of 54.5cm though.

Gyeswho 02-01-08 12:33 AM

good thing that's too small for me

$1288 for a decently equipped langster 54cm. in apparently almost like-new condition, is it a decent price? i know nothing about these bikes.

I WANT THE WHEELSET. (seriously. would make a deal if someone wanted the bike without the wheels.)
