What do you guys think of this Bianchi Pista? Its an 07 so it comes in the color I want, and it has new wheels. Other than that it is pretty stock. Brand new ones are going for this at the LBS, and I am not well versed enough to know if the Weinmanns make it worth the price.

https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ayphotohosting

I would probably change out a few things if I bought it, just thought Id ask for some quick feedback.

TIA

^ that's ridiculous. i can't believe that pistas go for so much when you can get em anywhere. weinmanns are cheap ****, and don't merit charging msrp for a used bike.

Yeah, I did a bit of searching after posting that and found out how much they cost. After shipping it's more than new one at the LBS. Nevermind.

I'm 6'3 with a 33.5 inseam. Will 57 be far to small? I really want to jump on this bike!

According to your inseam, it seems that you'd need a frame that's (*0.65) 54.5cm (c-c) or 56cm (c-t) frame -- this seems really short for 6'3. Unless I'm missing something this bike would actually be too big...

You might also want to check whether 57cm is center-to-center or center-to-top (you can probably check Bianchi's site or ask the seller).

they've gone on ebay for all sorts of prices, but i'd say 200-250 would be fair.

You need more like a 60cm unless you like lots and lots of handlebar drop.

An 07 Bianchi Pista for 425. That's not a bad deal is it?

It's a popular bike these days, I see. Price is lower than both of the others on this page though... hhhmmmm...

2007 Felt TK2 great shape! I spoke with this guy, he's a school principal with a lot of bikes. I had to pass on this deal for financial reasons but I wish I could get it. 60/61cm, basically stock & he's willing to ship.

What do you think about this frame for a ss/fg project? Any concern with the small dent he mentions? Any other thoughts?

That fact that it is French has the potential to create some problems.
