I'm thinking if I position the seat right, I could use my feet on the bars to steer and pedal with my hands. I'm changin' s*** up in the Yay Area. |

This thing is lovely - looks like someone snarfed it early though. Would have been very interested in what it went for.

gotta love the drillium saddle and seatpost
$140 bin sugino 75 + ring http://cgi.ebay.com/SUGINO-75-track-...QQcmdZViewItem bargain seller 1-day track bike: http://mcewenmemorabilia.com/images/corima_1.jpg judging by the other stuff this person is selling (a ridiculous amount of 1-day auctions starting at $100 for pretty nice stuff like this), and the fact that in the past they only sold little garage-sale knicknacks, im guessing this is a hacked account. |
It is lovely, but sadly it's not a colnago, look at that wrap around seat lug, and the rounded rear brake bridge, so gives it away, this is an early 60, or late 50's british track bike. There isnt't one clove engraved on the frame as well. And the fork is nothing close to a colnago.
Still a nice frame, but not what is adversited as. Cheers

posted this in "vintage" too, but thought it relevant. not bad for an old track bike. |
No way that Colnago is from the 50's/60's. The clearances are too tight, the workmanship too detailed...

don't get too excited now, its just the frame and fork.

Interesting. Anyone know what pedals those are? The installed and removed cleats seem sketchy too, but it could be a good deal if the shoe fits, as they say.

Lovely Ephgrave 1 road track frame dating from c1962
Always loved Ephgrave stuff. Refinished and bound to be pricey.
