there is a handle on the left side of the bike, defeating all need for top of the tube routing

killsurfcity 04-09-07 09:32 AM

yeah, that is wierd. it still seems like it'd be a decent frame for riding on some dirt tho.

I'm normally not into this kind of thing but these pedals look pretty sick.

i got a set of cinelli (old logo) pista bars...i thought as did the seller they were just some old criterium bars...i got to looking and notice the shape was a little different...then found a 67 stamped on one side so i guess they are 67-39's...$40.
thanks to craigslist.

This one is over but I thought that the track-bike market was slowly cooling, I guess I was wrong. It is a beauty but over 2000$USD for frame and fork? Nutty.

agreed! Anyone have any dissuading opinions before I buy these things?

queerpunk 04-11-07 09:00 AM

i'm told it's nearly impossible to find replacement clips if they don't fit or if they break.

yeah, I could see that, but it also looks like new clips could be fabricated with relative ease.

they're reproductions of the older style clipless pedals.

take that as you will.

my $.02- they be way overpriced- i wouldn't pay more than $20 for them

anyone know anything about the brand? is pretty.

jacobpriest 04-12-07 10:37 AM

A well known forum member is listing that bike. It's suppose to be a really good builder. You can see in the work that it is high quality.

caloso 04-12-07 12:37 PM

Ivar Johnson frame from the 30s. Check out the angle of the track ends.

listing's gone. what was it?

queerpunk 04-12-07 02:09 PM

T.E.T. Cycles/Tom Teesdale, 61 s/t, 58.5 t/t, orange and red powdercoat, reynolds 853, drilled unicrown fork, tig welded.

i can't believe i remember all of that.

bward1028 04-12-07 02:46 PM

I picked up this beautiful TIG Reynolds 853 Tom Teesdale pursuit track frame and fork as a potential Kissena killer, but it's unfortunately too big for me. 61cm c-t seat, 58.3cm c-c top, brand new frame/fork/Stronglight Delta headset with nifty yellow-to-red Spectrum powdercoat. Fork is drilled to take a brake, if you choose to street it (and the powdercoat would be amazingly durable for that purpose.)
