I'd lay money that that's a bike from XACD in China. I have a ti. 29er frame from them and it has the same dropouts. They do competent work, and they're cheap; I'm happy with my frame.

I picked up one of those forks from that seller, quick shipping, totally legit.

Auction is likely fraudulent, a few folks are over-bidding on it to keep it from selling to someone who doesn't know -- ebay has been contacted.

Anyway, I don't think that people actually DID get duped into buying fancy logoed chains before the internet, at least not like this.
