I wasn't trying to open a debate about whether or not drugs are good or bad, cool or not, ect. I was hoping some of you might have something to add about the experience in relation to fixed gear bikes, because it is a unique one. If you can appreciate that, it's something to explore. If you can't... continue baking babies.

Wel, at least the first intentional acid trip was experienced on a single speed by its inventor.

I've ridden high and I've ridden buzzed. I don't have any intention of even touching blotter paper or pills. Riding high was kind of a buzz kill. Riding buzzed was severely awesome. I was within the legal limit and I was in control, but it was just a ton of fun. I really don't do either substances very often at all. |

Last time i took mushrooms I was riding about 3 mph around eastvillage .
Another time I was flying through Seattle with a bunch of tripping outlaws. I had fun both times but didnt think it was because of fixed gear. |

Doing enough night rides coming home these past few weeks makes me go crazy enough without any substances. Just an hour is enough to really send my mind in stranges directions. Talking to myself, whistling, humming and general total isolation. Maybe I should find a group to study with.

I wouldn't even touch blotter paper, but I will whole heartedly agree if you tell me it's safer than X. |

first night i got my fixie, i had to ride it home after drinking some 151 and smoking a blunt. nice learning experience and no crashes, luckily i was still running a break then.
i really like riding my bike high now, though i've only done it less then a handful times. i'm not about to ride it completely drunk, but a bit tipsy and i'll give it a shot haha. you definitely get a taste of the zen thing when you're pretty high, and wonder if the bike is riding you and not the other way around. but i'd hate if i had to stop suddenly and wasn't ready for the skid. |
