But seriously man. Get whatever the hell colour Deep V's you want. Seriously. Or get a regular rim that comes in silver or black and don't bother with this most difficult of questions.

If you care about aesthetics do yourself a favour and get some nice respectable black or silver rims that won't look totally ******** when you switch them to another frame.

I'm embarrassed I even clicked on this thread. I wonder what I thought I'd find? I wonder what answer the OP is looking for? Aren't all the colors available on the Velocity website? Is it supposed to be fun playing "dress up" with somebody else's bike? This could be the most confusing thread I've seen in awhile.

I'd probably do black machined or silver with an edge to black. I'd also prefer Open Pros to deep V.

In keeping w/ Christmas, I vote white. Then paint a helical white stripe on the seattube so it looks like a candy cane or a barber pole.

That's admirable. I care about aesthetics too, to a certain degree. The thing is, do you also care about going fast? Because deep-v's weigh a ***ing sht ton, which, in my opinion, negates any of their aero/aesthetic advantage (all of that rotating weight will certainly effect acceleration).

Is it a nice frame? Maybe you owe it to yourself to get something with a little style AND some performance value. Deep-v's are more than just passe, they're counter-productive.

yes.. those things are way too heavy.. if youre pushing 280 or so.. maybe go for it..aside from that they are useless

as for aero.. the MIT pursuit team nerds claim you get more aero out of not wearing gloves then you do from a deep v wheel which means, not much

aeroheads come in colors, too. get those.
