I was a bit torn when i realized that I would have to start scratching up my first board to do certain ****, but you get over that. I wasn't as much into my favorite board graphics as I was my favorite sneakers or even my favorite trucks

Yeah, but I'm sure you had a favorite company.
You can't say they are all the same.
Different wood, different concave, different shape.
The graphics are just a bonus.

1st deck was a generic deck that came with my first complete. My first real deck was an Element Featherlight circa 2000.
My favorite deck was the Krooked Sweatpants deck I used to have, but I've really been into the 7.75" Real Pricepoint I've been riding.

I missed the days of old school skates, but when I first got into it, i was all about the alien workshop slicks.
Now, all i ride are anti-heros.

I'm gettin choked up.
I loved the Blender's. What '86-'87? Roskopp, Hammerhead's-
Was it the Lucero with the red cross and his name spelled backwards- I had like 3 of those. Always broke Alva's. A week or so and they'd SNAP in the hip.
(Big Bonelesses!)
Current favos:
(Gonz give me the Krooked. The Oakland deck was a going away present that I'll never ride)
PS- Tommy G is still my hero.

I love them all...

left to right: Gator Reissue (Flame grip tape and Sims Pure Juice wheels from my father), CAL-240 (I picked it up off of ebay, tricked it out, it is now known as Pink Death), first board (I don't know the make, it was cut and painted by a friend, then it was given to me as a present, Gullwing trucks, Hosoi Rocket wheels), Birdhouse Bird Skull and Cross Bones (was my friends, I inheretted it after he died), Black Label Christian Hosoi Rising Sun deck (old school rat bone wheels)

roskopp reissue with led running lights that I made

DAmn.. this is nuts.. I had like 80% of the decks on this posting. Started with a Hosoi Hammerhead..Lucero..Gator..Gonzoles, Caballero, Lance, Hawk, Tony Alva punk size, SMA Natas, Blockhead, Matt Henley.
My favorite was the Henley...cuz this was when street boards turned symetrical.

Longest I ever had a board, when actually skating, was probably a month. Shortest I ever had a board was 2 hours.
