Now that I think about it, I think the seeds to my current track bike obsessiveness was echoed in my skating days... planning the next trucks, wheels, deck, etc. It makes me nostalgic to think of when $100 was enough to buy a complete setup and not, like, a hub. I guess the traditions of fancy color schemes and knee damage are hard to break.
First deck - Santa Cruz "psychotic" (the evil eyes with psychedelic background... can't find a pic. NOS was good to me even then).
