Also, the fork should be coloured "bondo".

If I can get polished metal I will bust my @ss to make sure I get one. If not, I'm not sure if I will buy or not. Depends on the winning color.
I don't have a good handle on the "san rensho blue". The picture posted in the other thread was much more robin's egg color than the pictures above.

Well I think I was the first to suggest this color, except I called it Battleship Gray, and it's as much of a color as "bare metal". Apparently that's a very popular choice, but I think it's a terrible idea unless you are using a non-ferrous metal like Ti or Al, or if you like the color of rust. Even with a clear coat, the frame is bound to look rusty, and nasty long before a painted frame would.

Imho, battleship-grey or any other blue-grey color would be awesome.
Something that can please both polished metal group and grey-primer group perhaps.
Like the middle part of a corvette mako shark paint.

The 3rensho blue kinda hard to imagine or pick, given such different photos of it so far.

for $200, we're not talking about a 3rensho or kalvinka frame. the paint job alone on those bikes are usually more than $200.
for most people, this will be a cheap all around bike and easy, durable colors seem wise. i dont think the crazy electric blue will really 'work'
Battleship Gray++

Don't have a pic but found this rustoleum reflective spray paint at home depot. It's a clear paint with reflective material included. Basically picture a bike that looks like whatever color normally, but when light is shined (shinned? shinning?) on it it reflects back white. A photo with a flash would show a bright white bike if it worked well. I sprayed it all over the bike including the wheels (tried to avoid the rubber and chain) just because I thought it was funny. Don't think it works as well as normal reflective tape but was worth 6 bucks I guess. Now if there was an industrial strength paint like that...
In the end I'd be pretty happy with just about any color that is durable and keeps the crud from turning my frame into rust, so long as the frame is better than the free one I built up at the moment.

BTW, anyone have a link to what "reflective black" looks like on a bike? Or an anecdotal story? I'm not in, just curious. I'll have to have a reflective black bike sometime if it's any good.

What about having at least 2 color option on the final bike, say something "classic" and something "crazy"
Sorry but ir seems that all my "blue" bikes have a really bad mojo, I don't want to buy another "blue" bike

off topic, but for exposure's sake I will repost this here:
ATTENTION PHILLY!
it is possible that build kits/partial build kits specifically for these frames could be available at a discount through the bike church. I would need at least 10 people to agree on components that I can get. Anyone interested should email me with "BFSSFG IRO" in the subject line. you can send me an email directly by clicking on my user name at the left and then hitting "send email to Rikardi151"

I don't like SRB. I already have a blue bike. I don't want another one.
I prefer the bare metal coated since "putty" or "drab: wasn't included in the choices.
My experience on the poll is - once you vote, you can't vote again.
3Rensho blue might be a proprietary color and may not be do-able. If this is the case(I hope), then we have to start this again? Or will we go with the runner-up? Which is "clearly" the bare metal!(pun intended)

if you don't like the colour, you have three options:
1 (the simplest)- don't buy it.
2 (more costly) - buy it and just deal with it.
3 (most costly) - buy it and repaint it.
i suggest number one or number three.
