Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I love that first fantasy bike... "Assuming breakthroughs in superconductivity". My bike would break the speed of light, assuming breakthroughs in quantum theory and tesseracts.

I'll quit when it's banned by the UCI.

Just had a fun thought: How awesome would it be to break the hour record on a spaceship traveling near the speed of light? You'd have all day!
