I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on some socks and gloves but I can wait and see what they say about a group buy.

I have the Pearl Izumi Barrier jacket and its great. If I'm doing a rec ride in the winter it is all I need over a summer jersey and armwarmers (an extra longsleeve jersey comes along just in case though). I've been caught out in the rain and stayed pretty dry. Its well constructed and looks nice. I got mine for 65 euros in Munich but its listed as 140USD on the website. I don't really see how it is all that different from the Gavia, but I tried on most of the Pearl Izumi winter jackets and decided on the barrier.

Please, I've eaten breakfasts that cost as much as a wheelset...

Not being impatient, when I've emailed them I've gotten a response the next day. I wasn't asking about a group buy though.

Any word on a GB? I'm guessing not. I ordered a few things from them last week. Got them in on Monday but they left out a few pairs of socks I ordered. No word from them yet

No word back on the group buy. I've been wearing my jersey over poly t-shirts about half the time - it's so freaking comfortable. I've decided I'd really enjoy a real road bike for long training rides this spring rather than more hot clothing, though, so it's going to be the last piece of Rapha I get for some time.
