this thread has been like this for a while now....more people trying to fit any bike they saw into this thread, than this thread being needed because of a truly jackass bike.

that said, here's something jackass: trying to pass off a leader bike as anything more than.....a leader bike.
equally jackass: hating on a leader having never ridden one.

Adjust the saddle, wrap the bars and this bike would not look so dorky.

And what's wrong with bells ?

All my bikes have them.

It looks like the rear wheel is just full of a thousand of the same spoke card. And then a sticker.

Whatever they are, they look like crap on that bike. I could see it on a beater polo bike, but not here.

This may be elementary to the regulars here, but since people seem to be disagreeing on it, can someone define "jackass" as it applies to the SS/FG bicycle? In a snappy phrase or sentence or Hallmark card verse?

the answer to your question is no. no one can really define jackass in this case because as you can see- everyone has a different opinion of what it is and while some assertions are based on logic, most are color-hating or style related. (with the exception of no retention.)

Jackass;
When fashion & stupidity trump sensibility & respectability.

(All jackass builds can be corrected. This is not the point. The point being rather this is their build. Ridicule them until they learn you self righteous assh#les.)

Last night I was laughed at for running a break, by a guy with no foot retention.

I think I would have to submit 90% of the bikes that appear on FGG lately. The riser bars, jacked up wacky angle seats, aero and deep V wheels, clown colors- this is what happens when a fad becomes a caricature of itself.
