except note the the super short stem. It seems more likely that some girl wants a really laid back riding position and should have gotten some sort of cruiser or hybrid but wanted to be cool and so got an IRO with bullhorns.
Longer stem with rise + cruiser bars. I'd be amazed if there isn't play in the headset, It looks like that was all done with 1cm spacers.

Actually Profezzional, that's my bike TehK it works OK for long distances and for some jackassed reason i do that a lot on this bike but as you can see the geometry is pretty unstable for a touring rig and you can't put too much in the panniers due to the short chainstays. For multi day rides with a bit of gear, a converted real touring frame ought to be awesome, especially with a freewheel on one side of a flip flop hub for when you get tired of spinning down big passes.

Move your rear blinky up so you can see it when you are loaded (not that loaded )
That and the above mentioned waterbottle are the only things that I would change. Marinoni right?

+1...Thats a pretty nice bike...Plus I'm pretty sure that blinky is removable and a lot of people put their blinky on rack when there is a load on it...I really am beginning to think this is one of the dumbest threads on all of BF...Its just a bunch of people who 1. Don't have a bike, so they make fun of someone else's bike or 2. Their own bike sucks so they want to make them self feel better by making fun of someone else's stuff or 3. Someone is making fun of something b/c they are a Jack@$$ themselves...

I'm psyched about putting up my s-works langster here. I spent all my money on the frame so it's gonna probably end up with bulletproof cranks, some cheapo fleabay wheelset, and a scavenged comfort bike saddle. I'll make sure the saddle angle is ridiculous for the picture and put a hot dog in the stem, so I can have the shortest jackass flatbar of all time.

I'm a jackass
Not really, well, yeah I am but that's beside the point. I had a lot more money then than I do now, and I can't ride for at least another two months because of an injury, so hopefully by the time I can ride again I will have some more capital.

yikes. this bike seems to represent one of the essential elements of jackassness --> looks/style valued higher than efficiency/usefulness.

About every 3rd page some mad-poster like you comes in and says this thread sucks. Usually because their chubby friend's bike or some goon in their hometown who is "cool as ****" has their bike tossed in here.
You should strike back.

ha ha, it'd be funny if the stamps were worth more than the bike.
i don't think that bike's that bad, though--just a cheapo conversion. bandana on the seat post is pointless. the stamps could be pure jackassery, but they are kind of cool on a purely visual level.
as far as just being a cheapo conversion, we all see lots of them, and at least they're bikes that are being ridden.

oh yeah...what's with all the no brakes/platforms? drives me nuts. i have a friend who's ridden that way for a long time (including as a messenger in philly and portland) and i guess he's used to it and can make it work...but even so i still think it's dumb, more so for anyone who hasn't somehow made it through a few years of doing that.

Thanks for your compliments guys!
Ha ha, it was for the people who post in this thread ever so often to say we are too chicken to put up our own bikes so that people can make fun of them.
Yep it's a Marinoni. The biggest jackass move i made was shaving the brazeons. I will ride this frame into the ground as a fixed gear and i secretly like the way it looks, but it was still not something i would do now. I would be running the superflash on the seatpost, but I'm vain and don't want a blinky hanging off my nice old DA post---to boot, its aero profile makes the clamp a little weird to set up right. I never carry anything on top of the rack so functionally it's OK.
What kind of bottle would you suggest? I know that one looks like a giant piece of... uhh, clear plastic.
