Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I was wearing my shants yesterday and it was still mildly cozy. I'm debating if I should take out my fixie tonight or borrow my roommate's crappy huffy mountainbike that's way too short for me.

kenny, I am still planning to whip you around on a sled drunkenly if we get around to it tonight.

Wednesday in Boston - 71 degrees.
Yesterday: 8" of snow.

Before this strm we were on track for the least snow ever - only 6.4" had fallen. We're still down 30" from the average. Most of New England is well below average, except for Vermont.
