Does the Sugino RD crank need an ISO or JIS taper?

From what I can tell, the regular RDs are JIS, but the RD2s are ISO like the 75s.

just saw on the fgg site...the 75's use ISO 111 0r 109 spindle length....the rd don't..they use 103 JIS

how can I tell if I have the RD or the RD2... I am trying to locate an italian bottom bracket 103mm for this and I am having a hell of a time!

as I told you over at fgg..it took me a year to find a 103mm, jis ITALIAN thread..

dura ace 7400.....50 on ebay

On the back of the crank, right near the spindle hole, it will say RD or RD2.

yeah I know, if you want I can give you the email of the guy I bought the dura from...he also had a hell of a time...maybe he might have an idea..pm me

like I said, If I knew what I knew now about getting a 103mm JIS Italian thread, I would have never bought the sugino rd cranks
