Ian,
I also want to go to that race, however I'm attempting to qualify for Paris-Brest-Paris and the first ride is on the same day as the Fool's Race!

sorry, kinda a noob at the whole alleycat thing...i've taken the chinatown bus once before, but not with a bike...is it okay to just throw a fully assembled bike in the cargo space under the bus, or do they require it to be in a box or bag...
sounds like fun...especially at a paltry $5

also, yes.... 5 bucks for a t-shirt, spokecard, afterparty, and memories of the most fun race of the year is a good deal indeed.

Oh yeah... almost forgot about that! Just so happens that this weekend I'm moving to Philly. Was planning on coming to the race anyway, but this is oh-so-convenient.

Any out-of-towners coming who need a place to crash, and perhaps something to do after the race/party, I've got couch/floor space, and there's a killer warehouse party in North Liberties that night. I will be biking to it, hammered. Send me a pm.

Bikes: Fixie built from an Atala frame (Destroyed by cab) I ride my roommates Lotus conversion until I can afford a new frame.
Any out of towners are welcome to stay at my place also. As I yet I have not yet figured out if I can get out of work early so I can make the race but I'll definitely be home by 4 so my place is open. Also I'd like to interview participants about the race for an ongoing documentary project about biking in philly that I am working on. For that matter, I'd like to interview any Philly bikers or people who have something to say about philly bikers at anytime, I've been pretty lazy about setting up interviews (also I'm pretty shy about asking people so that has been a problem.)

i'm pretty bummed, but still no way out there. i am, however, going to spend the weekend in the woods with some friends, so that's cool.
