it is even better! saddle angle, bar tape, and fenders that fit. just gotta get a dynohub and rebuild front wheel with lumotec steeze.

Great looking bike, but what makes it a townie? When I think of a townie, I see racks, upright handlebars, regular shoe friendly pedals, etc...
Your bike looks like a nice vintage road bike, but a bell and fenders make not a townie IMO

i guess it's more of a tourer. in my defense, it now has fenders, bell, and clipplatforms(meant for test rides). it is made of hiten steel, and in the event i switch to townie bars its got a front rack too. anywho, time to ride it to work.

Not bad. Wookiee kid is pretty cool though.
The best is still that juiced up guy holding a Leader with dual red arrospoks that Scrod has cooped up in his .gif library.

Needs fenders and a Wald, but I'm buh-ROKE at the moment. Also thinking about one of those ******y handlebar coffee cup holders. I'm still tweaking the saddle angle.

thanks, it's a 1991 Schwinn Paramount PDG 5 with a 650B conversion and a trek fork. it's comfy but still zips around like a race bike. i'm debating flipping the bars upright but i love the drop look so much

I intend to build up my Nagasawa track bike as a "townie" for fun. I'll post it if it actually works out. Nothing fancy, just bars, a comfy saddle, and a lower gear. Winter approaches so it may not get any actual riding for a while.

I might get around to taking good photos later, but here's one my neighbor took for me real quick while testing it out...
