Pro: they should last the life of the wheel or maybe >1 wheel. (Trash the wheel? Salvage the plugs & re-use 'em.) That should help offset some of the cost difference.

Con: they look like a PITA to install & remove.

I'm tempted to try them on the next wheelset I build or buy.

i have them on my deep v. it is a pita to install. but i figured it would last me for more than the wheel.. and they dont come loose and/or get sticky
