I thought I read he is looking to get touchup paint for those who have these issues.

I found a couple of paint "issues" on my right chainstay (green frame) but if I can find an old-school, silver, stick-on chainstay protector, it'll cover it nicely. Still, touchup paint would be nice.

I had a noticible paint chip as well--however, hard to see unless you are standing over the frame looking at the chainstay---i'm not worried. A little touch of paint and clearcoat will do the trick

okay, i called IRO to ask about completes, etc. tony answered on the second ring. cool.
he told me that out of the three people that work there, one of them is dedicated to building up bikes right now.
iro is currently working on group buy stuff and regular orders.
also, i told tony thanks for group buy in general. the sad part:
he was surprised that i was thankful.
seriously folks. show the man more love.

However i'm still stuck here at work while it sits at home... Alone...
I'll be sending him an e-mail to say thanks when i get home.

I ordered a wheelset with my frameset and it appears that it really is pushing back the shipping date of my order as it is still at IRO. If I was smart I would have just ordered the wheels from elsewhere. I really hope I get my order in soon so that I can take the ride on vacation.

Whoa... These frames are light! Fork is pretty danged heavy though (about as heavy as the frame itself, 53cm). But that's ok.

I got one of the 53cm 1" mistakes, I'm calling Tony tomorrow and lookign forward to speaking to the legend. Frame looks great, I'm super-jazzed. 28 mm tires, 3-speed bars hella fresh.

I missed the UPS guy today, but I picked the package up at their shop after a while. This thing's a piece of work. I got a 53cm 1 1/8" black frame with a collar. The collar was also black, not silver as previously mentioned - a nice touch. No apparent scratches, love the paint, the dropouts weren't fugly (I was sure they would be), all in all a great $150 frame. The fork, on the other hand, might need to go. It's a bit of a boat anchor, but what can I expect for a $150 combo. Just didn't expect it to be that heavy. Sad, because I really like the overall looks of it.
My pile of parts...doesn't exist yet. Only a bullhorn brake lever. I'm going to the LBS to get things rolling in a month or so, once I've got the outlay for it.
+1. Just mailed Tony off one of those...whaddaya call 'em? Thank you notes, that's it! Haven't written one of those in years. But for THIS big a deal, hell yeah, Tony deserves one or two or forty of them.
