Got my 59 Black threaded Tuesday. Need to pick up a BB and HS, and the build should happen this weekend. Will post pics in the official pic thread.

HEY IRO,
There's a special girl waiting for a Mark V HD in Philadelphia and her birthday is July 20th. IT would rule beyond words if the bike got here by then.

Just sayin'...

Damn! My birthday is also July 20th, although I know there is no chance in hell my bike will clear customs and make it to me by then.

But um. You better step off my birthday.

i just wanted to reply to my self.. it's amazing to see a 'web forum' give birth to a physical something.. ie. the frame and the deal.. totally great.. the nice mister at the shop was sorta confused and then happy and then sad that he didn't know about the forums/deal after he played with the frame.. heh

I got someone else's frame, so if you haven't received your black 59cm with a threadless stem and a seat collar, it's on the truck back to IRO right now, and I'm sure he'll sort it out from there.

He said "all frame orders." I presume that unpaid for bikes don't count as "orders."

I read that, and was asking for verification, thanks. Stranger things have happened. I see the guy from AUS has his frame and I'm still waiting on a shipping email; and I'm 140 miles from IRO.

Mine shipped on friday 7/13, confirmed by Tony. I work for a internet retailer, so I was able to wade through it all pretty easy, but Tony could definitely stand a couple more hands on deck, and/or someone to help him with FAQ, order updates, etc... anyway, here's what happened to me:
- Spoke to lady at IRO, told me package was shipping on 7/13.
- I received a UPS email on 7/13 w/ tracking number
- When I ran this tracking number, it says "billing info received on 7/19"...that's right, in the future (someone at IRO made a data entry error of some kind).
- I have been assured my package shipped 7/13 and that i'll probably have it 17th, 18th... however, because the "billing information was submitted on 7/19", no scans will manifest until 7/19. I imagine there are other orders with this problem, as tony found the error before pulling up my specific order. Probably someone typed in the wrong date on their UPS shipper account information. So I won't see a scan until the day after the package is delivered, all scans that from PA to chicago (including delivery) will all appear at once.
- All the while, my order shows "in-progress" on IRO's website.

So, I hope this gives you some insight, if you have had a similar situation. 2, I hope this shows tony that he could save himself alot of time and alot of stupid questions by having a FAQ page, etc on his website.

btw i'm not the special girl in question ( i am, in fact, not a girl at all... or special for that matter) but i'm sure she appreciates your birthday wishes and she talked to Tony and her bike is being built. it turns out the little HDs really caught on and they ran out of the 650 wheels or something.

It's a good thing I reconciled my bank account tonight, because it turns out that my order never went through. I paid with Paypal, so I think they lost the transaction and never sent the money to IRO. Or maybe I forgot to click the finish button or something. Either way, it took me almost a month to realize it. Oh well, at least I noticed before it's too late.

Received my black, 56cm, 1" threaded frameset in the mail and it looks beautiful!
Took it out of the box, looked at all my nice, shiny parts that I was going to build it up with...

Then noticed that it was a black, 56cm, 1 1/8" threadless frameset that I had in my hands. I was sent the wrong order

Trying to get a hold of Tony now in hopes that my threaded frame hasn't already been sent to someone else. Really, really bummed out right now. Been waiting for this moment patiently for months and right when my eyes lit up and a smile came across my face it was snatched away from me. Damn.
