Wow, great job!

Unfortunately with me it's really hit or miss when it comes to sewing, and I get so frustrated I end up not trying again...I was supposed to make some hats for a couple different people but that never materialized. That's cool that you cranked out so many! I especially liked the fabric you chose.

Thanks! I love sewing. I've been working really hard on them, and I pretty much have it down now. I'm pretty excited.

I want to make hats that are more than just the regular old color with a stripe deal, ya know?

Totally. I'm really into embroidering using the zig zag for varied line weight, and you can also make images with small pieces of fabric in gradations of color. Maybe you should take a crack at that? I just bought a new cycling cap on thursday which I'm going to use to make new patterns off of (with slight modification), and I'm going to jazz it up with my own embroidery since I'm not going to actually take it apart.

My old Campy hat (which I based my first hat on) was assembled slightly different in a way I didn't really like, so hopefully my next ones will come out better.

Preface: this is a stupid question. Do you put anything in the bill of the hat so it keeps its form ala baseball caps or is it fine with just fabric?

It's digital camo, just like the Chrome bags.

Yeah, there's actual hat-brim material, so the brims are stiff and snappy!

For those who were asking, this should give you some idea how the caps fit.

You did the three panel?

The three panel is actually a little easier, I think. It's alot faster, that's for sure.

tried to do the three pannel. i got the "dome" sewed together but had a hell of a time trying to figure out how to attach the brim. any suggestions?
and how do you "finish" it inside with the head/sweat band and all?
