Custom decal work?
I've been looking for a set of old Guerciotti logos. From what I gather, they aren't available. I was looking at a site for restoration and custom painting, and it appears they printed a set special for a restoration, but they mentioned that they won't sell just decals - you must get the frame painted there too.
My roommate works at a sign store, they do printing, silkscreen, and vinyl stuff. I'll ask him what he thinks. Has anyone gotten a custom set of decals printed? Done it all on your own or through a company? Anyone know of a site of jpegs of vintage decal sets to send to a printer? That restoration site mentioned they have most stuff on file.
the decal set in question:

then again, all this to get the frame painted some un-authentic color is a little sacrilegious. they did make frames in metallic purple though....hmmmm.

yeah I've seen those around - they're closer to the current logos on their aluminum and carbon frames.
I'm partial to the older logos, though...they're what're on my frame now.
are you colin's brother, by the way?

thanks and no problem.
It's your bike, paint it however you want.
If it's worth a ton of money or has historical value maybe not or if you are planning on selling it eventually it might be harder to find someone who wants a purple glitter guerciotti.
I'd ride a purple bike.
