yeah and maybe after that he could've given the cop a sponge bath and cooked him dinner. what the hell planet do you live on?

At least be intellectually-honest and say you don't like police officers and experience a bizarre schadenfreude when something bad happens to law enforcement personnel. Do you laugh when they are injured in the line of duty as well?

Sometimes, yes, when they deserve it.

Blue Jays 07-05-07 02:57 PM

deathhare, please isolate an example where you feel a police officer deserves to be injured in the line of duty. I'm curious as to where you believe this would be proper, acceptable, and reasonable.

so a *car* got damaged because the *driver* wasn't paying attention... since no one was hurt, i think that is a very funny story.

but the next cyclist that cop sees do something... oh boy...

You are too, too lucky you didnt recieve the usual, taxpayer
funded 'beet' down.....Anywhere Ive live the pork would have
gone Chris Beniot on you before the car even came to a full
stop.

Blue Jays 07-05-07 03:39 PM

deathhare, police officers were not injured in the line of duty in the videos you provided. You're sending police brutality links, which is an entirely separate subject. All decent people agree police brutality is wrong. We're talking here about a fellow bicycle rider who knowingly caused a taxpayer-owned vehicle to be damaged.

WTF are you talking about? Are you paying attention to what what you even asked me?
You asked me to illustrate an instance where cops deserve to be hurt in the line of duty.
Two of the cops in those links deserve to be shot and killed.
Read below what you asked me.

Elvis died on the hopper because that cop couldn't get there in time. Shame on you.

rknj 07-05-07 03:53 PM

I don't know about you high & mighty folks.. but I always laugh when a bad driver ****s up his ride. Why should I find it any less amusing when it's a cop acting like a dick? The guy couldn't afford a car, you really think he was paying property taxes to the municipality?

Are you saying that the ability to learn from his mistakes is beyond the ability of the average law enforcement officer?

Not that he deserved to be shot, but funny:

deathhare, we're not talking about police brutality. We're talking about police officers performing their duties. Police brutality is not committed in the line of duty, get it?

No. we were talking about when cops deserve to be hurt. I said that sometimes they do. Those are some examples of when...like u asked for.
And BTW, some (many) cops think that beating on people is ok, for example their wives, etc. And of course think that stomping 'criminals' is part of their duty.

What the hell are you talking about? The rider broke a law and the officer was doing his job. How does that make him being a dick? Are you being a dick when you do your job?

Did the cop have a crystal ball to determine said offenders financial status?

Getting pissed on, spit on, verbally abused, hit and kicked by people in custody isn't part of the job they signed up for either. Some can take it some can't.
