adj.

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Also, I'm scrambling to throw together a cyclocross bike right now, so my BFSSFG build is even further down the priority list now.

On a side: I still don't have my wheels and I am starting to get pissed off. You pay $400 for wheels, then you don't have them after over a month, and then UPS says they are lost. This is crap.

Ugh! That sucks, dude. So, nobody's willing to claim responsibility? Gotta love the blame game.

Bikes: 2007 IRO Mark V fixed, 1971 Schwinn Spitfire stock newsie cruiser, 60's Schwinn Collegiate single speed, 1984 Azuki Imperial fixed, old unknown brand Tandem fixed.

i missed out on the buy (i would have gotten a 1" threaded), but i ordered a frameset from IRO this summer requesting a bike with no decals or badges and i'm wondering if i got one of the leftovers.

here are some pics:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/1035148...7601829399459/

DETAILS:
- flat black IRO "Mark V" frameset (no decals, name plates, etc)
- Mavic CXP22 wheels (new)
- flip/flop hub (new)
- Pake crankset 165mm/46tooth (new)
- surly 19 tooth cog for now (off old bike)
- quill pedals (off old bike)
- cane creek headset S3 (new)... threadless? the verdict is still out on this one. i'm open-minded.
- unknown stem (from bike co-op)
- chopped riser bars and grips (from co-op)
- sweet shimano bottom bracket cartridge (given to me)
- awesome shimano 105 brake given to me (with old co-op bmx lever from old bike)
- seat and post (from old bike)
- some janky as$ tires that i got for 1/2 price.. all black.. 700cX28 wide for cruising
- bmx chain (from old bike)
- new straps 1/2 off at some bike shop attached to old clips (from co-op)

so far, it is fuggin rad, but i am still new to using track geometry after 2 years on a roadie conversion. might put a 42 tooth chainring on and lower the teeth on the cog for a faster cadence... but for now, i just want to fugging ride it. ya know?

That doesn't look flat black. I have one. No reflection off my frame. Maybe I'm wrong.

Still it's a sweet ride.

oh, it's flat. that reflection just comes from the intense tucson sun.

.. and thanks for the compliment. it really is a step up from my Azuki conversion.

Love that stem.

Hey folks, I was thinking of getting a brake for my commute to school because it's kinda crazy, will this one work with my groupbuy?

https://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...e+Caliper.aspx

Trying to order caliper and lever from the same site.

It's not really track geometry, per se, but certainly tighter than an Azuki.

Definitely not track geometry in the traditional sense (lots more slack geo on the track these days). It's actually most slack in the ST than my 1980s Fuji Palisade, which is hardly a sleek racing machine.
