Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

the brake is silver and the chain is silver... go and slow. it works.

Well, I just called UPS and they told me that the wheels are lost and they have to find them. Great!

I had the best day, probably ever, riding this. Everything about it is awesome. Seat feels perfect, bars feel perfect (but I'm going to get some risers or bullhorns for the street) the crank/bb is amazing, the wheels are great. its a huge step up from my previous fg's. the gearing is great everywhere except the 11% hill to get to my house, its pretty hard there.

I've grown to really love the black and gold theme. Those gold deep V's look really cool.

Come on, if you can't get some shots tonight you should just sell me your bars for extra cheap.

I don't have a degree in design or anything, but I do think there are some objective aesthetic qualities in terms of color that are hardwired into our brain. That said, to each his own.

The IRO group buy frame is a ba$tar_d child of an angry Angus and Mark V that was so fast it couldn't keep its paint.

[edit: why is ba$tar_D blocked? I was not using it as a vulgarity. How else does one sucinctly describe an illegitimate child?]
