yeah.. i think that is my favorite one yet

i flipped my stem.. so now it's a nice low position.. and it's comfy.. i've never been comfy on a low stem on my schwinn but i'm going to post this up to the short TT

these iro frames are really, really sweet.. i can't imagine how much 'nicer' the ride could feel on another frame

yum

www.thebikebiz.com had the pink sugino cranksets. I was tempted to get them (or purple ones) but dammit, they cost too much for my tastes...

edit: just checked, seems they don't have them anymore...

drewcifer took my crank/ring/pedal setup but the win has been called by yours truely, it all depends if I leave the Rando on the back or switch it to the matching white rubino pro

Well my build is creaping along...got my front wheel finished last night...mounted the tire and it looks really nice. Now all I have to do is build the rear, tape the bars and put the chain on.

Something I noticed...different tire companies really have different ideas of what a 23mm, 25mm and 28mm tire is. I run Vittoria 23mm on my geared bike and Conti 28mm on my commuter...for the IRO fixer I went with Mich P2R in a 25mm size for the added comfort and I swear they are wider than the 28mm Contis on my commuter...that siad the 28mm Specialized Armadillos on my wife's bike look like 32s. Thought is was a bit funny. The IRO should be a cushy ride.

Sorry, but it looks like you couldn't choose between black or silver components.

Nice saddle though. I bet when you're really hammering, you can hear it humming Gangstas Paradise.

Alright, it's finally done.

This is my first attempt at building wheels (miche hubs, aerohead rims), and I think it turned out pretty well. Also, note the hand-polished sugino 75s, cinelli bars and tektro brake lever.

Thanks. It looks great right now. I know the first scratch or chip will be tragic.

I'm actually planning on replacing the seatpost with a thomson because that supertype is about a half a centimeter too short. Damn miche!

We have the same wheels and tires on our group buy IRO's. How are you liking them?

I noticed, actually. I think the only difference is the number of spokes (and I took the stickers off of my hubs). So far, they have been running great. I think the hubs were the best part of the miche group.

yeah so i'm tempted to get miche hubs and rebuild my wheelset and give my GF my old open sport/pro/formula set

What cog are you running? this whole 'miche uses a threading that is slightly.. slightly different than standard EAI/DURAACE threading makes me nervous.. and that quick change is just not in the cards.. yuck.. i've had enough people say it's fine.. thread er' on there.. but i've read some crappy outcomes..

maybe i should just buy some dura ace HF and sit back and build the new set over winter.. hmmmm

I'm actually using the cog carrier system. I was under the impression that the cog threading is standard but the lockring threading is proprietary. I might be wrong about that.
