New Wheelset axle problem

my back wheel doesn't slide into the rear dropout. is the best option to get an lbs to drill it out just a little bit?
it's a new frame and maybe the paint is just caked on a little too much.

What frame and hub?

You could try sanding/filing off some of the paint first. A drill is a bit drastic.
